Counter Strike: Source - BYOC tournament

Stage 3 of DSRack LAN #(3 in 1)

This tournament is primarily targeted low/mid teams in Denmark, but everyone is welcome. You will need a LAN-seat to attend this competition, and there are no options for PC-rental from our side.

This tournament does not exclude you from the big non-BYOC tournament, but in case you are scheduled to play in both tournaments at the same time, then your non-BYOC match have to be played first and according to the schedule.

Structure

Group stage: 22/10 (Friday) from 18:00 to about 00:00.
- 8 groups with 4 teams giving every team 3 x BO1 matches.
- #1-2 advances to A-brackets.
- #3-4 makes it into B-brackets.
A playoff: 23/10 (Saturday) from 11:00 to about 00:00
- Dual elimination; BO3 matches in upper bracket, BO1 matcher in lower bracket.
- Grand final is played BO5 with upper bracket advantage.
B playoff: 23/10 (Saturday) from 11:00 to about 00:00.
- Dual elimination; BO3 matches in upper bracket, BO1 matcher in lower bracket.
- Grand final is played BO5 with upper bracket advantage.

Entry fee

You need a LAN-seat at the price of €30 + a tournament ticket which is €17 to participate in this competition. Its a BYOC tournament, which means you have to bring everything you need to play your matches.

Prize pot requirements

The prize pot is based on the requirement of 32 teams participating. If fewer teams attend the prize distribution will be adjusted to the match these levels:

32 teams: €5.000
24 teams: €4.000
16 teams: €2.500
