Q: What does BYOC means?
A: It stands for Bring Your Own Computer and means that you have to have your computer to participate.
Q: Can my team participate in both the LAN competitions and the major non-byoc competitions?
A: Yes, we will make room for both, but you have be ready to play according to the schedule of the major competition. LAN competitions will of course requires than you bring your computer.
Q: Is it possible to rent PCs for the LAN?
A: No, you should look into one of our non-BYOC competitions instead. We do have a shared pool of PCs for the Starcraft 1on1 LAN competition for non-danish players.
Q: My team has qualified for Kompletts Denmark vs Sweden tournament, are we still able to attend your big 1.6 tournament?
A: Since the schedule for kompletts tournament hasnt been announced yet its hard to plan accordently, but all of our 1.6 tournaments will be played Wednesday and Thursday staying clear of whatever Komplett/SLAP LIVE has in store.
Q: What is the exact days for the big non-byoc tournaments?
A: Call of Duty 4 will be Monday and Tuesday. Counter Striek: 1.6 is Wedensday and Thursday and Counter Strike: Source is Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Q: 70.000 euros in cash prizes... that sounds insane! How is that even possible?
A: Its possible due to primarily 3 things: 1. We made a great deal with the new location. 2. We have some great sponsors pitching in. 3. And the prizes pot is guaranteed when the required number of signups are met. The exact requirement is based on the specific game/tournament and will be clearly visible when we release more info shortly.
Q: Can I visit the event and participate in the smaller competitions not requiring a PC?
A: Yes, though we havent decided a price for guest tickets yet. €5 for a day visit will surely be the max. we will charge.
