DSRack LAN #(3 in 1)

Our next event has a bit odd title reflecting a lot of new and exciting changes. Instead of one game, one tour and one weekend we expand #3 with more games and more activities in 3 stages, hence DSRack LAN #(3 in 1).

In short we have changed the location to suit foreign teams and big city dwellers of Copenhagen, added more games, boosted prizes up high and combined the LAN experience (byoc) with major (non-byoc) events by bringing in a load of tournament computers.

The new location is Kroegers HOUSE located in Copenhagen about 1 mile (or one stop by train) from the international airport making it very easy for foreign teams to attend our major non-byoc competitions. Furthermore we made a fine deal with Zleep hotel, located just beside the event offering a nice discount for teams attending DSRack LAN.

The games and prizes proposed are:

• Counter Strike: source (5on5) €25.000
• Counter Strike: 1.6 (5on5) €25.000
• Call of Duty 4 (5on5) €20.000
• Starcraft 2 (1on1, 2on2 and FFA) €5.000
• HoN or DotA (5on5) €1.000
• Bowling (FFA) €200

Highlights:

• Date: 18 – 24. of October 2010. Both days included.
• Location: Kroegers HOUSE, Copenhagen, Denmark.
• Total prize pot of more than €70.000 when fully booked.
• 3 major 64 teams non-byoc competitions.
• 3 LAN periods with 32 team-competitions.
